Lunch at L'antico Forziere in Casalina

We stopped off for lunch at the "country house" restaurant in Casalin on the way to our B&B in Pienza. We had another absolutely wonderful, three hour lunch, in this delightful restaurant. This was the day of the great blackout across all of Northern Italy. The restaurant was lit by candles and they were able to offer almost all the items on the menu. Just as we were having desert and coffee, the lights came on (we actully preferred the candles).
